Tales of Eternia Remastered Achievements and Trophy Guide

Tales of Eternia Remastered has 50 achievements, and 46 of them sit under 10 percent global unlock. The rarest two are both at 0.3 percent: Indomitable Hero, for a clear on Extreme or Unknown, and Master Commander, for all six commands from the nameless soldiers. A signed-out visit to the Steam achievements page renders only 27 of the 50 names; the rest carry a hidden flag, Steam's usual treatment for spoilers.

Every percentage below was read from Steam's global achievement stats on October 17, 2026, launch week for a release out on consoles October 15 and Steam October 16. Rates move daily, so read them as a snapshot. Bandai Namco published no trophy list of its own.

  • Master of All Eternia, the capstone, sits at 0.4 percent, and third-party trackers give the PS5 platinum the same name.
  • The title grind is the cheapest cluster: ten titles each for Reid, Farah, Keele, Meredy and Chat, plus seven for Max, all at 0.5 to 1.0 percent.

The Verified Numbers

Two figures come straight from Steam: 50 achievements, 46 of them rare, and 27 rendered for a signed-out visitor. A page printing 27 names reproduces that slice rather than hiding a missing 23. A dagger below marks the hidden entries, whose names come from the page's own achievement data, not from the rendered list.

Ten entries are Craymel pacts, tracing one chain from Undine at 24.2 percent down to Maxwell and Sekundes at 0.6 percent. The Craymel Cage guide covers how the cage assignment decides who casts what.

Nine entries are minigames, including the one that catches people out: Pro Bowler is Craymel Ball, and Craymel Ball is played in Mintche, not at a location of its own. The minigames guide gives every venue.

Two names worth double-checking

Valkyrie Vanquished! points at the top of the Tower of Radiance, while PlayStation-era guides put Valkyrie at the top of Glimmer Spire in the same solo Reid fight. That boss match is the strongest evidence the names are one dungeon, but no official dungeon list exists, so treat it as a reading rather than a fact.

A Rarity-Ordered Route to the Platinum

  1. Story first. The six story entries, from The Adventure Begins at 73 percent down to A Timeless Tale at 0.8 percent, come free and none are missable.
  2. Pacts while you are in the region. Undine through Sekundes, ten entries in one chain, 24.2 percent down to 0.6 percent. Sign each before you leave its continent.
  3. Minigames and titles in one sweep. Fifteen rows: nine minigames plus six title milestones. Chamballoon and the river race first at 2.3 and 1.4 percent, then the remaining seven at 0.6 percent each.
  4. Collections last, because they span the map. Collector's Book 0.8 percent, Monster Compendium and both Van Eltia upgrades 0.6 to 0.7 percent, recipes 0.4 percent, Lenses and skits 0.5 percent.

Optional bosses sit beside passes two and three: Siren and Valkyrie at 0.5 percent, Nereid and Sekundes at 0.4 percent. Floor layouts are on the Glimmer Spire and EX dungeon page, and Sekundes itself on the hidden bosses page.

The title rows fill themselves

Minigames, the cooking contest and the optional fights all pay titles, so the six title rows complete while you chase other entries. Start them early instead of farming at the end.

Difficulty, and the Single Hardest Row

Extreme is selectable from the very first hour, and Unknown unlocks once you finish the game. The official change list adds the detail worth planning around: the battle level the 2000 original locked behind a second playthrough is now selectable from the start of playthrough one, and Unknown arrives with the second run. Since Indomitable Hero accepts either setting, one qualifying clear settles it. What each level changes is on the difficulty modes page.

The Remaster's Time-Savers for a Full Clear

A 100 percent run is mostly repetition, and this release ships official tools that cut it down.

Tool What it does for a completion run
Boost Progression assists, toggleable almost anywhere
Battle Retry Restart a lost fight from the game over menu
Quick Recovery Party-wide HP and status in one action
Encounter toggle Random encounters off and back on
High-speed auto-battle Routine fights sped up
Auto-save Saves at map transitions

Quick Recovery screen listing the party recovery options in Tales of Eternia Remastered

Quick Recovery matters most: it is a menu action rather than a battle item, so it removes the old walk back to town between attempts at a river record or a boss retry.

Missables, Timed Events and Carryover

Change Consequence
Hourglass destination icons Time-limited titles and items get marked before they close
Nereid's Labyrinth moved Opens in playthrough one, inside Shizel's Castle
Titles added to carryover in v.2.0.0 Second runs inherit titles, so progress survives

Nereid Neutralized! at 0.4 percent was historically a second-playthrough achievement because the labyrinth was locked behind a clear save, a gate the remaster moves into the first run. The sidequests and missables page lists the events the hourglass marks, and the new game plus page covers what else transfers.

Trophy Sets on PlayStation

The count transfers cleanly: third-party trackers list 50 trophies, matching Steam. The split usually quoted, 37 bronze, 10 silver, 2 gold and 1 platinum worth 1,335 points, comes from those trackers and could not be independently confirmed here, since the tracker pages sat behind a bot check. The platinum is reported as Master of All Eternia, also a Steam achievement at 0.4 percent.

FAQ

How many achievements does Tales of Eternia Remastered have? 50. Steam's global achievement stats return 50 rows, and the community page header states 50 achievements, 46 rare.

What is the rarest achievement? Two sit at 0.3 percent: Indomitable Hero for an Extreme or Unknown clear, and Master Commander for six nameless-soldier commands. At 0.4 percent sit Nereid Neutralized!, Sekundes Subjugated!, Master of All Eternia and Worldwide Wonder Chef.

Why can I only see 27 achievements on the Steam page? Because you are signed out. The page renders the 27 entries not flagged hidden and says so in its header. The hidden 23 include the story beats and boss fights, which is how Steam handles spoilers.

Is there a platinum trophy? Third-party trackers list a platinum named Master of All Eternia in a 50-trophy set, and the same name appears in Steam's list. The published point split could not be verified directly.

How long is a full completion run? There is no verified remaster figure. The completionist number of about 73.5 hours comes from community tracking of the 2000 PlayStation release, and the remaster's own page had no data at launch. The how long to beat page breaks down each source.
